INTRO: Cindy Drake, Founder "Hip Housewives"

As many Moms out there, I started a business out of my home in 2006 called Hip Housewives.

It started as a Moms co-op to share businesses, time, ideas in a retail storefront. Our first retail storefront, Collections Boutique opened in Castle Rock in 06'. After a few unfortunate circumstances and a hard decion to make, we had to close Collections this past Summer. Although we were sad to have to close our doors, so much was learned in the time we started, opened and ran our business. It really was priceless information gained.

Hip Housewives has now evolved into an online networking and support group for women business owners. The idea is to provide a forum for members of Hip Housewives to share their ideas, expertise, and businesses online.

For many out there, time is a bit of a constraint so Hip Housewives brings the networking to the business owner. Some forum topics covered are advertising, state of Colorado tax information, creating websites, etc. In addition to the information shared, members of our group currently enjoy free featured business ads and member discounts.

I hope you can go to my website and check this out for yourself. I'd love to have you as a Hip Housewives member!
